Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what information fuelefficiencycalculator.com ("we", "this site") collects and how it is used.

The calculator

Everything you enter into the calculator, such as distances, fuel amounts and prices, is processed in your browser and is never sent to us.

To save you picking them again, the calculator remembers your currency, units and calculation choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
